Wow Rock - when you jump in to something, you go whole hog! This is great!! Love the way that orange and blue really sing, and the neutrals balance things out. Beautiful!
Very nice! I'm somebody that gets intimidated by attempting color... I think this is very nice. The blue brushes in the bag and the orange square... very vibrant!
This is an amazing drawing, the clear bag, the way the blue and orange just POP! It is hard to believe you have only been doing this for a year. For a newbie, progress and talent such as yours is so encouraging. This is my first peak at your blog and I'm sure to be back to see more, lots of great stuff here:) .
PS-Love the pennywhistles. I try to play also, but the kiddos say I make their ears bleed!!

Wow! Wow! Wow!!! You've entered the technicolor world, Rock. And with such an excellent drawing. Isn't it fun...and a little intimidating?

Great first sketch with colour! I think you did very well, you should celebrate! Now we´re all waiting for more! :)
You've been holding out on us!! This is fantastic, what glorious use of COLOR. . . so vivid and full of energy.
Great take on this challenge! You did a wonderful job.
(And by the way, Kansas is NOT in black and white!)

To Vickylw: Touche! Your portfolio is proof enough that "Kansas isn't in black and white"!
very cool.
Great drawing! Love the colour!
Tes! I like! But I really enjoy your black and whites also.
OZ holds many wonders for those of us who have discovered your work. Can't wait to see more of this color. Gorgeous!
I love the results. You seem to be very comfortable with color -- though your black and whites are brilliant too.
Very nice!
